The Secretary, ALF, and the Director Agriculture, Gilgit Region, participated in the inaugural ceremony of the Spring Plantation Drive held today, 11 February 2026, at the Forest Complex, Gilgit. The Honorable Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan formally inaugurated the plantation campaign. Under this initiative, approximately 3.5 million saplings will be planted across Gilgit-Baltistan during the current year to promote environmental sustainability and enhance forest cover in the region.
